The set in one paragraph
Enchanted Wilds launched on 26 August 2026 with patch 18.1. Its main mechanic is Wisps: one-shot effects that appear in the rightmost slot of every other shop and can be bought once per round. They are the successor to Set 12's Charms. Around them the set adds Elderwood plants that occupy hexes and grow with the trait, an Avatar Lux that picks one of nine origins, the Riftbeast jungle monsters with an Alpha Mark, and two solo mechanics: Draven's Bounty Seeker objectives and the Kha'Zix/Rengar Rival feud. The tables in this hub are generated from the live game files; trust them over this text when they disagree.
Wisps: the core mechanic
- Where and when. A Wisp sits in the last shop slot on alternating planning phases. You can buy at most one per round; unbought ones vanish when planning ends and the champion underneath is revealed. Prices range from 0 gold for small shop tricks to 45+ for the late-game deals, and stronger offers appear as the game goes on. After the mid game every other offer is a combat Wisp.
- Seven categories, colour-coded in the shop: Champion (units, copies, temporary 5-costs), Combat (a stat or effect for the next fight, e.g. a team shield or a delayed stun), Misc, Shop (rerolls, cost-filtered shops such as All Threes), Gold/XP, Risky (bigger payoff with a downside) and Item (component and anvil manipulation).
- How to think about one. Ask three questions: does it win the next fight, does it improve the economy, and is the price below what the effect is worth to this board? Economy Wisps compound when bought early; combat Wisps are for rounds you need to win (streak breaks, HP thresholds); most one-round buffs are not worth gold when you were winning anyway.
- Blossom is the trait built on them: at 3 your Wisps are empowered after combat, at 5 they appear in every shop, at 7 each purchase refunds gold, at 9 you can buy two per round, and at 11 they turn prismatic. A Blossom board treats Wisps as its main scaling.
The full list with what each one does is on the Wisps page.
The other systems
- Elderwood plants. The trait grants placeable plants: a Stonebark Tree and a Lifebloom at 3, a second Tree with bonus health at 5, the Deepwood Protector at 7, and the plants star up to 2★ at 9 and 3★ at 11. They occupy hexes, so count them as frontline when you position.
- Avatar Lux (5-cost). Lux picks one of nine origins (Blackthorn, Blossom, Coven, Elderwood, Fae, Inferno, Lunar, Primal, Solar); the chosen origin counts twice towards that trait and her Final Spark changes with it. She is the flexible cap-out for any vertical.
- Riftbeast. Ten jungle-monster units share the trait. Takedowns stack an Alpha Mark; at 3 stacks you pick a Riftbeast for a unique enhancement, and at 10 you gain +2 team size. Elder Dragon takes two slots and counts as two Riftbeasts.
- Bounty Seeker (Draven). Repeating objectives that pay gold, champions or rerolls when completed; takedowns and last-hits count differently, so Draven wants to finish fights.
- Rival (Kha'Zix, Rengar). When only one of them is on the board he develops takedown-based rewards; Kha'Zix evolves at 8, 30 and 60 kills.
- Engine. The client moved from Hextech to Unreal with this set; settings reset once.
Where the fundamentals still apply
- The econ, leveling and rolling guides are unchanged by the set. Pool sizes and shop odds live in the Lab, with the date they were last verified. The standard timings still hold: 6 at 3-2, 7 at 4-1, 8 at 4-2/4-5, 9 at 5-2/5-5 for the fast-9 lines.
- Positioning defaults still hold: the Elderwood plants and the two-hex Elder Dragon occupy hexes, so count them when you plan a frontline.
- Augment evaluation is the same framework as always: fit, econ plan, floor versus ceiling, contest. Wisps add a fourth question every other round: is this gold better spent on the shop?
